FAMILIES across Dorset are being encouraged to download a free Team GB digital fitness and activity pack to give children a winning edge ahead of an exciting summer of sport.

Persimmon Homes has created a Stay Active pack to help keep children physically and mentally active ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games being held this year.

Elinor Barker, Olympic gold medallist in cycling, launched the Stay Active pack just days before flying out to Tokyo to represent Team GB.

Sales director for Persimmon Homes South West, Stacey Harris said: "We’re proud to support our local communities.

"Thanks to our partnership with Team GB, we hope this pack will instil a bit of extra anticipation and excitement in the younger generation as the countdown continues to one of the biggest sporting events in the world.

"All you need to do is simply visit the Persimmon Homes website and download our Stay Active pack. It’s free of charge and provides all the essentials needed to give children a taste of Team GB training.

"Get active, stay active, and download your free pack today."

The pack includes a selection of activities, from a fun fitness challenge to discovering facts about Japan to colouring and learning origami.

There is also a competition to design a 'Good Luck Team GB' poster with the chance to win a £100 voucher and an appearance by a Team GB athlete at a school assembly later in the year.

Entries can be made through the Persimmon Homes' social media channels.
