The market runs from Beale Place through to near Office and is jam-packed full of independent retailers and street food.

Aiming to get people out and about again after the pandemic, the organisers hope it is something the community can look forward to each week.

The first market on Sunday, June 27, was a great success and full of happy shoppers and stall holders ready to soak up a bit of post-lockdown normality.

If you missed the Facebook Live video tour of the market, you can watch it below.

Stalls included leather belts, hats, American sweets, gifts, homeware, artisan bakeries and home-made fudge.

The street food quarter had plenty of tables to sit and enjoy some cuisine from all over the world including, Spain and India to Thailand and Greece.

There was an absolute buzz about town with shoppers excited to mooch around all of the stalls and shopkeepers were soaking it all in too.

Forever Fudge stall holder, Duncan Brown said: "I've been making fudge for the last eight years and I've been doing events and everything since then.
