CLOSURES

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2017

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Bournemouth, in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations and is satisfied that traffic on the said roads, as previously advertised on 21 April 2017, should be prohibited for the purpose of highway surface dressing scheme works. The effect of the Order is that the roads listed in the Schedule to the Order will be closed to all motorised vehicles and no parking will be permitted (no waiting and loading/unloading at any time). Suspension of one-way only to allow for two-way traffic will apply to roads as listed in the Schedule to the Order and this will also include Junction Road. Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety and diversion routes will be in operation. The anticipated dates for operation of the Order are 8 May 2017 until 1 June 2017. These arrangements may be amended or extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations The Council regrets any inconvenience to the public caused by this Traffic Order.
