THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) (CUFAUDE LANE. BRAMLEY) ORDER 2017
Notice Is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council In exercise of the powers of the said County Council and In exercise of the powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-
Reason tor Order: The Council are satisfied that traffic on the road below should be restricted or prohibited because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.
Effect of Order All traffic will be prohibited from travelling along Cufaude Lane, Bramley, from Its junction with The Street Bramley to Its junction with Hanmore Road Chineham, as directed by traffic signs. The closure Is to allow for cutting of vegetation in the interests of highway safety.
Duration of Order: The order will come into effect on 19 March 2017 for 1 month. (Notwithstanding the aboio it is expected the closere will be lor 1 day only between the hours ol 09:00em until 16:00pm)
Alternative Route: Hanmore Road, Bowman Road, Thornhill Way, Reading Road/Chineham by pass link, A33 Reading Road, Bramley Road, Minchens Lane, The Street Bramley.
