Dorset Council (A Footpath from Holton Heath Trading Park to Rockley Jetty, Wareham St Martin) Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2022
The above Order, made on 6 May 2022, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by:
Adding a footpath from its junction with Holton Road at the roundabout at Holton Heath Trading Park at SY 95259092, generally south east along a tarmac surfaced estate road and footway, passing to the east of Holton Heath Trading Park to SY 95459082 then continuing east north east along a gravel then earth surfaced path, running parallel with the railway line to SY 95819089 and east north east, along a grass/earth surface track, passing through woodland (via SY 95929094) to point SY 96279097. Continuing south east, along a grass/earth surface track, crossing the railway line at SY 96359093, turning east, running parallel with the railway line to SY 96889098 then south east to a land spit in Poole Harbour (known as Rockley Jetty) at SY 97009090. Width: 7 metres between SY 95259092 and SY 95459082, narrowing to 5 metres between SY 95459082 and SY 97009090. A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge at Reception, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester during normal office hours. Copies are also available on our website at

not later than 8 July 2022. Please state the grounds on which they are made. Any letters received will be made available for public inspection.
If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Dorset Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
