A338 Wessex Way, Temporary Speed Reduction to undertake highway works

BOURNEMOUTH, CHRISTCHURCH AND POOLE COUNCIL
A338 WESSEX WAY - SPEED REDUCTION TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT: Temporary speed reduction, from 40mph to 30mph
WHERE: A338 Wessex Way, on both sides of the carriageway, from its junction with Bournemouth West Roundabout to its junction with St Pauls Roundabout
WHY: For the health and safety of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council to undertake highway works
WHEN: Anticipated dates: 6th June 2022 until 24th June 2022.
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
