HAVEN ROAD, POOLE - UTILITY WORKS TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT & WHERE:
- Haven Road closed between the junctions of Maxwell Road and Cliff Drive/Elmstead Road - no parking, no waiting, no loading/unloading at any time
- Suspension of parking bays on the northern side from outside No. 46 to approx. No. 16 Haven Road
- Temporary suspension of pedestrian crossing
- Pedestrian footway closed on southern side
WHEN:
- from Saturday 19 February until 22 February 2022 -road closure
- from Saturday 19 February until 25 February 2022 -parking suspension and temporary suspension of pedestrian crossing
WHY: Craning operations to the Telephone Exchange by Vodafone
DIVERSION: Maxwell Road, Esplanade and Cliff Drive and vice versa
PEDESTRIAN DIVERISON: via signed route
ACCESS: Full Emergency access will be maintained.

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State. The Council regrets any inconvenience caused by this Traffic Order.
