HOLES BAY ROAD TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
Temporary Speed limit reduction - No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed at a speed greater than 30 mph on the following road:
HOLES BAY ROAD - between the junction of Sterte Avenue West and the junction with Broadstone Way.
WHEN: Monday 25 January 2021 until Monday 10 May 2021.
WHY: The proposed temporary speed restriction is required in order to reduce vehicle speeds to create a safer working environment on Holes Bay Road whilst works are undertaken by BCP Council for the construction of a Toucan Crossing and associated works.
These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
The Council regrets any inconvenience caused by this Traffic Order.
