Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: The Green (Part), Biddestone; from its junction with Chippenham Road to its junction with Marts Lane to enable Gigaclear Limited to carry out laying of cables, building of chambers and cabinets. Alternative route: via The Green (unaffected length) - Cuttle Lane -Yatton Road - A420 - CI 80 - CI 70 and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 16 March 2021 and the closure will be required for one day. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Alternative route: via B4528 (unaffected length) - A4 - A350 and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came into operation on 16 November 2020 will now recommence on 22 February 2021 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 02 April 2021. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. This Order will come into operation on 17 March 2021 and the closure will be required for one day. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. (30mph Speed Limit) Order 2021 (Previously advertised as 2020) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 9 February 2021 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is as follows: Order 1 - To revoke The County of Wilts (Restricted Roads) (No.4) Order 1963 and re-enact it in the above Order 1 for administrative purposes and to introduce a 30mph speed limit on C189 Oxford Road/Aldboume Road, Aldboume - from a point 53 metres north east of its junction with Windmill Close to a point 160 metres north east of that junction. Order 2 - To revoke The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Baydon) (Restricted Roads) Order 1999 and re-enact it in the above Order 2 for administrative purposes and to introduce a 30mph speed limit on C189 Aldbourne Road, Baydon - from a point 685 metres south west of its junction with Ermin Street to a point 29 metres south west of the southern entrance to property known as Baydon House Farm. Any person aggrieved by the Orders and desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Orders will come into operation on 26 February 2021.

This Order will come into operation on 06 March 2021 and the closure will be required until 22 March 2021.
