Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Southward Lane (Part), Aldbourne; from its building known as Storage Units at Southward Lane for a distance of approximately 20 metres in a southerly direction to enable Thames Water to carry out repairs to leaking trunk main valve and associated works. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came into operation on 05 November 2020 will now recommence on 08 February 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 until 09 February 2021. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 27, Chippenham and Footpaths 34 and 42 Langley Bun-ell; the complete lengths to enable the carrying out of residential development pursuant to planning permission. Alternative route: All alternative routes will be in close proximity of the closure points clearly marked and fenced and maps will be available on site. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This closure which follows an emergency notice will come into operation on 10 February 2021 and will be required for 06 months. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004 The County of Wiltshire (Calne and Calne Without) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2015 (Amendment No.6) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Calne and Calne Without Consolidation Order 2015 by revoking Map Schedule Nos DA55 dated 04/11/2015 and DC54 dated 22/06/2020 and replacing it by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos DA55 and DC54 the effect of which will be as follows: To introduce No waiting at any time on the following lengths of road:- Abberd Way - north side - from a point 108 metres west of its junction with Broken Cross to a point 69 metres west of that junction; from a point 42 metres west of its junction with Broken Cross to a point 34 metres west of that junction; from a point 8 metres west of its junction with Broken Cross to a point 7 metres east of that junction; from a point 19 metres east of its junction with Broken Cross to a point 25 metres east of that junction; Abberd Way - south side - from a point 25 metres west of its junction with Broken Cross to a point 25 metres west of its junction with The Knapp; from a point 28 metres east of its junction with The Knapp to a point 28 metres west of its junction with Penn Mill Road; Broken Cross - west side - from its junction with Abberd Way to a point 10 metres south of that junction; Broken Cross - east side -from its junction with Abberd Way to a point 16 metres south of that junction. To extend the current No waiting at any time on the following lengths of road:- Station Road - east side - from a point 31 metres south of its junction with Woodland Park for a distance of 3.5 metres in a southerly direction; Station Road - south side - from the southern end of the layby opposite the Fire Station for a distance of 3 metres in a northerly direction. To introduce No waiting Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm on the following lengths of road:- Abberd Way - north side - from a point 69 metres west of its junction with Broken Cross to a point 42 metres west of that junction; from a point 34 metres west of its junction with Broken Cross to a point 8 metres west of that junction.
