Notice of Application to Stop Up Highway at Casterbridge Road, Ferndown, Dorset
At 2.00pm on 21 January 2020 the Council as Highway Authority for the County of Dorset intends to apply to the Dorset Magistrates' Court sitting at Weymouth Magistrates' Court the Law Courts, Westway Road, Weymouth, Dorset, DT4 8BS for an application under Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of this Order, if made, will be to stop up public highway rights over a section of highway at Casterbridge Road, Ferndown, Dorset. Due to the current Covid-19 situation, it is not possible for Dorset Council to have documents on deposit for people to view at County Hall. Anyone aggrieved by this application may oppose it by attending in person at the Weymouth Magistrates' Court on 21 January 2021 at 2.00pm and they will have the right to be heard.
