CABOT LANE JUNCTION IMPROVEMENT SCHEME ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATIONS ACT 1984 TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION ORDER TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT & WHERE: A Temporary Speed limit reduction - No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed at a speed greater than 30 mph on the following roads: - BROADSTONE WAY from its junction with York Road to the overpass bridge of Upton Road - CABOT LANE from the David Lloyd Health Club to the 30mph zone on Cabot Lane South
WHEN: Monday 14 September 2020 until Friday 11 December 2020
WHY: The proposed temporary restrictions are required in order to reduce vehicle speeds to create a safer working environment on Cabot Lane junction whilst the works are undertaken by BCP Council.
These arrangements may be extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations and restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months. The Council regrets any inconvenience to the public caused by this Temporary Traffic Order.
