(No.2093-2-43) Order 2019
Dorset Council has made an Order under Sections 84(1) and (2) and 124(1)(d) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
When the Order comes into operation on 20th September 2019 the effect of the Order will be to:
Extend the existing 30mph speed limit along Ringwood Road from the existing 30/40mph speed limit signs just west of the entrance to Constable Close in a south westerly direction to a point 150 metres south west of the junction with Angel Lane. A copy of the Order together with a plan showing the length of road affected may be inspected from Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Main Reception, Dorset Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for that purpose. Notice of Making a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Dorset Council (Part of Bridleway 15, Holt at Clayford Farm) Public Path Diversion Order 2019
The above order, made on 5 July 2019 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert part of Bridleway 15, Holt as shown on the order map as follows:-
From the existing way:
From the unaffected part of Bridleway 15, at its junction with Footpath 16, north west of Clayford Farm at SU 06030296, north east, passing through an industrial site (via SU 0605202976), then east north east to the southern edge of woodland at SU 06110299. Continue east north east through woodland and onto a track, to rejoin the unaffected part of Bridleway 15 at SU 06130300. (No recorded width).
To the new way:
From the unaffected part of Bridleway 15, at its junction with Footpath 16, north west of Clayford Farm at SU 06030296, east north east, passing to the north of Clayford Farm to SU 0605102964, then north, passing to the west of a farm building to SU 0605202969 and continuing north to SU 0605302975. Turn east, running parallel with the fence line, to SU 06090297 and east north east to SU 06120299. Continue east north east along a track and through woodland, to rejoin the unaffected part of Bridleway 15 at SU 06130300. The width of this part of Bridleway 15 varies; 3 metres between SU 06030296, SU 0605102964 and SU 0605202969, 2.3 metres at SU 0605202969,2.5 metres between SU 0605202969, SU 0605302975 and SU 06090297 and 3 metres between SU 06090297, SU 06120299 and SU 06130300.
