COCHRAN Hugh Boyd Sadly passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday 20th July 2021, aged 74 years. He battled cancer on and off for 16 years and fought it to the very end to which we couldn't be more proud of him. Much loved husband of Pat, loving dad of Tracey and Katie and doting grandad to Jack, Emily, Sophie and Ellie. He will be sadly missed by all who were lucky enough to of met him. His Funeral Service will be held in the Long Barrow Ceremony Hall at Harbour View Crematorium on Friday 6th August at 3:00pm. The family would like guests to wear bright colours to reflect Hugh's larger than life, family loving, love of socialising, bright coloured shirt wearing personality. Family flowers only please. To my Uncle Hugh, so sad to learn of your passing, I have many happy memories of you on and off over the years and will never forget your love and support to both me and the wider family when my own Mum passed away two and a half years ago. Much love to my Auntie Pat and cousins Tracey and Katie especially at this difficult time. The tanned, smiling picture of you that's been on my bedroom wall for ages will remain a real lasting legacy to a much loved man who I am so proud to have had as an uncle. All my love x x x
