HEWETT Gillian 'Gill' Passed away on the 24th September, aged 71 years. She dealt with her illness without complaint but, with humour, courage and strength. Greatly loved and missed by her husband Ted. Also her daughter Laura, son-in-law Peter and sisters Jean, Bobbie and Lin, alongside brothers-in-law Ken and Reza, and nephews Daruish and Kean. Close friends Pam and Lynne, were with her in her final days. Gill had a striking character and a robust sense of humour which endeared her to many people she met. The family would like to thank the staff of Sandbanks Ward for the care, professionalism and compassion they showed to Gilly and the family. Gill's funeral service will take place at Poole Crematorium on Tuesday 23rd October at 11:30am. Family flowers only please, but donations, in memory of Gill, for Poole Hospital Charity (Sandbanks Ward) can be sent to Chester Pearce Funeral Service, 14 Neighbourhood Centre, Culliford Crescent, Poole, Dorset.
