My name is Mustafa Soykut and Miss Margery Wood was my landlady when I was attending the Anglo European School of English in Bournemouth in the Years 1984 and 1985, I stayed at her house with her and with the cocker spaniel dog Rudi. I remember Marjorie very fondly end we have kept in contact for several years through ordinary post however I have lost her mail address long years ago. I am presently a professor of History at the department of History of Middle East Technical University in Ankara Turkey. I would be grateful if you could forward my message of condolence to the nephews and nieces of hers for I do not know them personally. I tried to get hold of Margery's contact through the internet for many years t and sadly I have come across this obituary. I have recognized her photograph immediately and I presume the photo was taken when she was working in British India as she was telling me, somewhere in modern day Pakistan, probably Lahore. She used to talk fondly about the Shalimar Gardens there. Again I would be grateful if you could forward my message of condolences to the relatives as it would be my last chance saying goodbye to her as I remember her very fondly. yours sincerely

Dear Aunt Margery,
We think about you often and about how lucky we are to have had the chance to know you. You were the glue that held our family together across the ocean and for that, we are ever grateful.
You will always be in our hearts.
Love,
Alan, Jason, Bob, Leanne
