AN investigation has been launched after thieves snatched two motorbikes and a push bike in Christchurch.
It is reported that between 2.30am and 3.30am on Saturday, April 20, offenders attempted to steal the three bikes from outside a property in Purewell.
Officers attended and found the push bike and one of the motorbikes a short distance from the address.
The other motorbike, a BMW GS1200 R, was found abandoned the next day in the West Moors area.
Officers are appealing for information as they investigate the theft.
Police constable Tom Rose, of Dorset Police, said: “Thankfully both motorbikes and the push bike have now been accounted for, but we continue to carry out enquiries to identify the offenders involved.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area during the early hours of Saturday April 20 to please contact us.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have captured relevant footage on home CCTV, doorbell cameras or dashcam.”
