THE shocking limitations in mental health services in Dorset have been laid bare in recent weeks.
Today we reveal how female patients are being sent hundreds of miles out of the area for psychiatric intensive care beds because there are none for women in the county.
This follows huge problems in Child and Adolescent Mental Heath Services (CAMHS) that we revealed three weeks ago. The system is failing people at all entry points. But they all have one thing in common.
They are all the most vulnerable in our communities. And we cannot continue letting them down.
