THE concept of two huge events ‘bookending’ the summer season in Bournemouth sounded like a good one.
And it looks more and more that way as this weekend’s Wheels Festival approaches. Thousands of festival goers are expected in town, although, as ever the size of the crowds will be to some extent weather dependent.
So if motorbikes, monster trucks or wheels in general are your thing, you may want to be along the shorefront sometime this Bank Holiday. It should be another sizeable economic boost for the town, with the Air Festival still to come. This season promises to be a good one.
