Jackie Steel was a credit to the Bourne Academy
IT’S fair to say that Jackie Steel is not you average headteacher.
She is a rather larger than life personality to say the least, with a colourful turn of phrase when the situation demands. She greets every pupil personally each morning.
And, of course, your average headteacher doesn’t quick their six- figure salary position to try their hand at being a portrait painter.
By all accounts Jackie has done a first rate job as head of Bourne Academy and will be a loss to education.
We wish her the very best of luck in her new career, giving Rembrandt, Holbein and Reubens a run for their money.
