JUNE Feasey is lucky. She accepts that much herself.
Although she is the victim of a nasty hit-and-run and has a broken leg, her injuries could have been very much worse.
In this incident, not only did the motorist not stay around to help, he did not have the common decency to make a 999 call, despite saying he would.
Hit-and-runs are on the rise, as we reveal today.
They are a coward’s way out and almost always result in much more anguish for victims and their families.
In most cases, the perpetrators are eventually caught. As this coward surely will be.
