Thanks to global warming bringing us Arctic conditions earlier this year, our local roads are now riddled with potholes (Daily Echo, March 13).
These will cost a fortune to repair so here is my suggestion of a nice little earner for our local authorities.
When motorists slow down to negotiate these craters, simply fine them for kerb crawling and use the resultant income to finance the repairs!
