MAY I respond to the review given by your theatre critic (Daily Echo, February 13) of the production of Lady Windermere’s Fan which I had the pleasure of watching at Lighthouse on Friday?
In contrast to your reviewer’s comments I considered that this production was superbly performed with acting of a high quality.
Oscar Wilde’s wit and satire was perfectly captured by the players who gave a very enjoyable evening of entertainment.
Having seen many theatre productions over the years performed by professional stars, I consider that the Arts University College Bournemouth students are more than a match for their professional contemporaries.
