AS THE news is full of swine flu and ways to prevent it spreading, one hopes to see the hygiene regime actually being acted upon.
Is it just “It’s not going to happen to me” or do people actively want to spread germs?
I find supermarkets are the worst – shoppers and staff.
Shopper sneezing all over goods (wrapped and unwrapped), wiping hands (if even used) on clothes and then spreading those germs over subsequent items being handled.
Cashiers coughing into their hands and handling goods and money which is then handed to shopper, no charge for the germs! Lovely.
This behaviour is commonplace but should really be improved in this pandemic situation.
Most people will survive but a few have underlying health problems and may be best staying at home.
