High time to act over High Street

I write once again about Poole High Street.

I have written and complained a few times to the council about the matter.

Cyclists whizz by people all the time nearly knocking them over. The council says there are adequate signs in the High Street.

There are two – one near the Nat West bank on railings, the other at the top of the High Street. If people had bells on their bikes it might help but they don’t care.

I asked the police and they said people should know the Highway Code. That doesn’t help as a lot of these ignorant people can’t read let alone the Highway Code.
