HAVING read your article on the European College of Chiropractic (Artery checks, Daily Echo, March 2) I felt that I had to respond.

In 2005 I attended this college for treatment concerning a pain in my hip and was informed that my doctor had been contacted because they had detected a problem.

It was found that I had a abdominal aortic aneurysm and I was operated on at Bournemouth Hospital.

If this had not been detected I may not be here to tell the story so congratulations to the Chiropractic clinic and Bournemouth Hospital for the treatment.
