SURELY the ensuing chaos around the Tuckton bridge roadworks with tailbacks all along and around Castle Lane, highlight the absolute madness of the proposal to close the A&E at Poole Hospital.
Our Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch conurbation is often gridlocked without roadworks. There is the new housing behind Royal Bournemouth Hospital to be taken into consideration as well.
Let us hope the powers-that-be think again and realise that to close this valuable and life-saving facility is not only illogical, but total madness.
