I HAVE an ambulance to take me to Poole Hospital for the next few weeks as I'm having radiotherapy.
It picks me up each day at the end of my drive on the pavement/road.
Yesterday I was shocked when a jogger came running along the pavement as I was getting into the ambulance and shouted "get out of my way".
The ambulance man said one day the jogger may need an ambulance. He was shocked.
Why are people so disrespectful?
Having said that I can't praise the ambulance crew and all the staff at Poole Hospital enough.
They have enriched my life with their constant friendly and reassuring presence.
It takes all sorts, I suppose.
