I AM writing in support of Christchurch Borough Council’s decision not to repair the Highcliffe Castle zig zag path.
The cost of carrying out the necessary repairs cannot be justified in light of local authorities’ squeezed budgets.
There are far more important items the council has to consider such as care services for the elderly etc.
Has Rothesay Drive Residents’ Association any idea of the cost of just preparing tender documents?
I used the path on many occasions but understand the dilemma the council faces.
The Rothesay Drive Residents’ Association do not speak for the people of Christchurch.
