I TRAVEL along the A338 Spur Road on a daily basis.

Considering the vast amount of taxpayers’ money spent on the vast improvements to this road, I am appalled at the current state of the edges of the road.

Most of the water run-off points are clogged up with silt, together with numerous weeds sprouting along the carriageway.

Is no-one responsible for keeping this valuable asset up to modern standards or does no-one care? Currently, it looks like a third world highway.
