Letter to the Editor: Councillors should cut their allowance to keep toilets open
I WENT to the council meeting at Poole on Wednesday night (July 19). What a waste of time.
I was absolutely disgusted that they are not going to re-open the toilets.
Councillor John Rampton wants to go and bury his head in the sand and resign.
The Conservative councillors do not listen to the public who they represent.
If the council is so financially-strapped, why don’t they take a cut in the allowance they get and perhaps they would be able to open the toilets in Poole.
