I REFER to Martin Ingram’s letter regarding Sandfest at Sandbanks beach.
I couldn’t agree more, the swearing and loud music was awful. We had to go home in the end.
This is not right, plus other events which have ruined people’s enjoyment of the beach this summer.
I am sure there are lots of other people who feel the same and I ask them to contact Poole council and complain. Maybe then they will take some notice of residents who just love going to the beach.
Sandbanks is beautiful. We go there with our friends and families to enjoy all a beach has to offer. This is a public beach so no areas should be closed. We don’t go to have loud music played all day even in sporting events, and be told we cannot use certain areas. We don’t need it. Is this even legal?
I do not see it is necessary to have any of these events in the summer. If we have to have these money-making events, they should all be held off season.
