WELL done Cllr David Smith for condemning President Trump’s economically illiterate decision to pull out of the Paris Climate Agreement.
It’s wonderful that Bournemouth is signed up to the Compact for Mayors to help fight the loss of our soils and wildlife.
Already cities and states have decided to pursue their own clean, cheaper agenda as renewables and batteries change the energy game. Exponential solar is now on the cards.
The importance of our strong and stable harvests and all the living systems that support life deserve our attention. We need to avoid Hexit!
So perhaps it would be helpful to think again about the proposed Wessex Fields road scheme which would, as Ray O’Luby says (Echo, June 3) bring in yet more vehicles and damage to the area.
