Letter to the editor: 'Poole – it’s a Beautiful Place' - not after public toilet closures
SUSIE Dean’s letter yesterday, regarding the poor state of Poole town-centre and the closure of public toilets, refers to the former advertising slogan “Poole – it’s a Beautiful Place” and asks whether this is still the case.
She also mentions a letter from John Revell earlier this week, in which he suggests that we should organise a protest against the closures, with a mass ‘sit-in’ in the bushes around the padlocked Baiter Park toilets.
So, maybe it is indeed time to update the slogan. How about “Poo – it’s All Over the Place”.
