CLOSING the toilets at Baiter Park is not conducive to good housekeeping on Poole council’s part.
With a skateboard park and cycle speedway, where toilets are a must, just a short distance away there is a wonderful car park where people simply come down to enjoy sitting in their cars enjoying the view and perhaps buying a cuppa or two.
Then there is the area for launching pleasure boats, all with no toilets.
It is a very foolhardy decision by any stretch of the imagination and more especially when there is a circus or fair nearby.
If ever there was a council with its head stuck in the sand, Poole council certainly fits that bill.
Having said all that there are plenty of bushes around that can be used I suppose, maybe not a good idea for the people living down there but remember people are human with human needs, sometimes urgently.
