HAVING just spent a week in Bournemouth Hospital having hip surgery, I want to praise the staff for all the wonderful care I received. At 79 years old, I was apprehensive on arrival at the Derwent Ward but was immediately made to feel they cared.
To begin with, all the people scurrying around like ants seemed very confusing but I soon appreciated all the vital work they were doing.
So, from cleaners to consultants and all the super trained and dedicated team that make this hospital what it is, an enormous thank you. You are all fabulous.
I am so glad that I paid my contributions all my working life. I just hope that the government tops up the expenses now as a priority. We are very lucky to have you all.
