FOLLOWING recent losses, both AFC Bournemouth and Poole Town FC came back with a bang last Saturday.
The Cherries played superbly to beat Everton by one goal to nil, and the Dolphins scored a 90th-minute winner in their triumph over Welling United.
These results were one in the eye for the individuals who have recently gone public in their highly subjective criticism of the teams.
Such negativity is typical of those who, at the first sight of a perceived weakness, descend like carrion crows to feed on a new carcass.
It is time to stop the criticism and carping and give both the Cherries and the Dolphins our full support.
These are great clubs with great traditions and contribute greatly to the health and wellbeing of the community.
Their role should not be underestimated.
No more knee-jerk reactions and undeserved brickbats please.
From now on, let us all show loyalty to both clubs and give them our unconditional encouragement and support.
Up the Cherries! Up the Dolphins!
