WELL done Bournemouth council and BH Live for authorising works on our town’s treasured heritage of the Pavilion.
This building is much admired and enjoyed both by residents and the many visitors who come to Bournemouth for their holidays.
It is excellent to know that the building is a having a total refurbishment.
This fine Deco Building is a ‘jewel in the crown’ of Bournemouth and this is highlighted by the most stunning and well-maintained rockery gardens which give the most magnificent charm and distinguished setting to the Pavilion.
The summary given by the general manager, Paul Grffiths, and Councillor Lawrence Williams is ‘music to the ears’ and I believe articulates the overwhelming feeling of the people of Bournemouth.
That is, that this wonderful public facility ensures support for art, culture, education and event programmes’ for generations to enjoy in years to come.
Well done and thank you.
