IN the Echo on Tuesday Jason Tindall said he would always pick a team that could win a match.
In the game later that evening this was clearly not the case as it was fringe players who were chosen obviously to give them minutes on the pitch.
For the first half they played like they were treating the game as a training exercise and deservedly went in 1-0 down.
For a time in the second half they played with some urgency but as soon as they were in front they sleep-walked to the finale where Preston got the result their endeavours deserved.
The only Cherries players who came out with any credit were Fraser, Gosling and Grabban.
It was a great disappointment to me as I had my step-daughter with me who rarely has a chance to see her favourite team and player Callum Wilson.
This was the worst performance I can remember from an Eddie Howe team in his time as manager of Bournemouth which I understand was compounded by chaos at the ticket offices.
