MANY thanks to Poole council for agreeing to fly the Poole flag containing the historic Poole coat of arms over Poole Guildhall this week.
This is the first time in the 255-year history of the Guildhall that the coat of arms, which dates back to Tudor times, has been flown over the Guildhall.
The Poole Flag Trust hopes that more flags will be seen across the town and across the harbour going forward as the coat of arms is part of the town’s history and identity.
