Disinfect your bins
WHILST I agree that missed collections are unacceptable (Fury over ‘health hazard’ waste bins, Echo September 14), I cannot quite understand why Mr Kent has a maggot problem.
The answer is to use a bin disinfectant, freely available in any hardware store.
End of problem, even if the bin is left for weeks.
