THE British farming industry survives, so we are told, on the finances they receive from the European Union, much of which is made up from our own contributions.
A dairy farmer recently appeared on TV and explained that his personal plight was so bad that he made more money from flogging manure than he did from selling milk.
Who or what is responsible for the terrible mess that our farmers find themselves in?
