I REFER to the letter in the Echo (Monday, May 23) from Daniel Campbell.
I agree with him regarding the fantastic news of our beaches once again winning the coveted Blue Flag awards.
The seafront team have to balance the needs of many millions of visitors but there is rarely an issue as divisive as dogs using the beaches.
The Seafront Rangers do enforce the dog free areas and will be targeting some enforcement action over the summer period.
We would encourage dog owners to respect the exclusion areas and sincerely hope all visitors have an enjoyable experience when visiting our seafront and beaches.
