THE problem with some people is that, in their opinion, the United Kingdom is now part of the European Union.

But why not think along the lines of the EU being part of the UK?

We have the scope to open businesses in 27 other countries without too much hassle.

We can buy a home there, often quite cheaply. We can apply for jobs.

The opportunities are there, so take advantage of that. Think of it as an expansion of the UK, not the other way around.

If Germany had a Monarchy, it would be ours.

We cannot turn the clock back, nor would there be any point.

Britain has not been a huge success. We claim to be the fifth largest economy and that is because we are in the EU.

Why are we, here in the UK, now at odds?

It’s mainly down to one Nigel Farage, who’s own family are part French and German! He has been nothing more than a trouble-maker.

As for Boris Johnson, he was born in America. His family changed their surname to sound more British, as they have Russian connections.

Possibly, Turkish. Daniel Hannan was born in Peru...

We are our own worst enemies. We went through a long period of buying foreign goods, as it was seen as fashionable.

Not only have we lost our manufacturing base, also many of our long-established high street retailers.

How many of you drive a foreign car? Shop in overseas-owned retailers? Go aboard for your holidays?

You have not spent your money in support of Britain.

World wars were about keeping Europe safe. Millions of lives were lost, families destroyed. Don’t throw that away.

Be British and rebuild a United Kingdom within a European Union.

If not, all will be lost.
