I AM researching war memorials in Dorset. I have found a bench plaque in Weymouth dedicated to Flying Officer AR Verrier DFC KIA 1944.
It is currently in the possession of Weymouth council beach office.
It was removed from its original site when the bench fell into disrepair.
I have permission to resite the plaque in the Nothe Fort here in Weymouth.
However before I do this I wondered if there are any living relatives in Bournemouth and what their views were.
If there are, could they contact me on 01305835223.
