THERE once was a time back in the fifties, sixties or even much later, when we all had to daily remember to wind up our so modern devices like our clocks in the hall, on the living room mantelpiece or even with the timepieces on our wrist or chain.
Technology soon moved in – in which we could all have battery installed devices. Fit one simple battery in all sizes and no longer would we have to face such a boring daily routine for a long, long time.
Yet where are we all today?
Future technology has taken us all back to the past.
Now I find that we all have to remember to put our daily devices (which has now quadrupled), on ‘charge’. Maybe even for more than once a day!
I have to remember to daily and constantly charge-up my mobile phone, laptop, iPad or whatever I may use. Same goes for my hands-free land-line, should I dare to ever leave it abandoned.
My E-cig, my mobility scooter – the list goes on and forever increases.
