I WOULD like to tell a good news story about to confirm that there are good people out there.
I had a lovely couple at my door who delivered my purse (which I hadn’t even realised I'd lost) all the way from Richmond Hill Car Park. I had last used my purse around 6-ish that evening when I left work.
I was in a rush and it must have fallen out of my bag when I got in the car. My purse has multiple bank cards, my driving licence, change etc so I could easily have had money taken from my account, identity stolen etc.
However this couple brought my purse back intact.
I was so shocked all I could say was ‘thank you’, but this doesn’t seem enough. I didn’t get to take their names and or details so if you could help me trace them, I would love to say ‘thank you’ properly.
The news is full of nasty things happening in the world, but by some miracle, I experienced a very rare event, but one I will never forget.
