ON Saturday night I witnessed a fantastic play by the Poulner players – an extremely well performed comical extravaganza.
I have not been to see this group perform before and now I question why I didn’t go before.
The well advertised play (as seen on the A31) was a delight from start to finish.
The characters of Top and Bottom kept the play light and whimsical. All the cast gave an exceptional performance and the choreography from the dancers was superb.
If I have anything negative to say it would be the heat in the auditorium was too much.
It could have done with being 10 degrees cooler and the length, two and a half hours (including the interval) was painful for one’s posterior.
That said, even the children in the audience were kept mesmerised by the truly wonderful spectacle that was on show.
If Britain’s got talent then most of it must reside in Poulner.
Well done all!
