I WOULD like to say a big thank you to the very kind gentleman, whose name I only know as Kevin, and his wife, who come from Charminster, who gave my niece and I a lift home from Parkway on January 29 when our train from Southampton was cancelled through severe flooding.
He not only brought us back to Bournemouth but insisted on taking us to Poole railway station to pick up our car where we had left it in the morning when we went to Southampton.
Without Kevin’s kindness, we hate to think what time we would have got home. We are both so grateful.
Thank you most sincerely.
