HAVING read about exclusive disabled bays (Daily Echo, February 8), I would be more than willing to pay for a permit.
I am a blue card holder and I paid for my disabled bay many, many years ago.
On our street there are only three disabled bays. I accept anyone with a blue badge can park.
Living near to the coach and railway station, it is annoying when someone parks in our bay and leaves it there for days on end, and is not known in the street as a resident.
We worry about using our car for hospital visits, shopping etc, as quite often we come back to find someone in our space which is directly outside our house.
I am hoping Bournemouth council will grant this permit for all disabled card holders.
